JOSEPHINE SLUEUE FOUNDATION (JSHF)

INTRODUCTION:

THE JOSEPHINE SLUEUE HOPE FOUNDATION (JSHF ) is a local non-profit and non-governmental organization that was established on July 23, 2023, in Liberia, to enhance community participation in service provision, advocate and monitor policies, encourage women and youth participation at local and national levels, and build resilience of societies affected by natural crises or Economy challenges.
The desire to establish the Josephine Slueue Hope Foundation (JSHF) was emitted by the pathetic and gruesome marginalization of our people and Nation.

The complex range of other challenges, including economic hardship, systematic exclusion from social services, unmet basic health needs of the common people, multi-dimensionally hard cost of living conditions of our people intensified the desire of Madam Josephine Slueue and other like-minded into this great initiative, including procuring assorted materials such as clothing, food, etc. to identified with the needful populace in Grand Geded county and others part of LIBERIA.

THE (JSHF) Foundation also runs programs on the ground in collaboration with local communities, focusing on health services, psycho-social activities, skills-building activities, sports activities, and more.

The beneficiaries of the (JSHF) foundation are individuals, families, and communities facing some of the toughest conditions–most often living in geographically remote settings or slum communities in Liberia.

MODEL: Our model will be based on trust, we understand that to maintain the foundation we must remain accountable, transparent, and honest in collaboration with our partners and donors. The JSHF foundation model adapts quickly to change through our multiple channels of donation, delivery, and distribution.

We will ensure a rapid response through our short chain of command and a wide network of donations. Our network will translate easily into a wider context for distribution through continued partnership building with local grassroots organizations and international donors.
Mission and Objectives:
Our mission is to be a generative power in alleviating suffering, nurturing long-lasting development, and bringing hope to those we serve, regardless of their age, gender, religion, ethnicity, or nationality.
Main Projects / Activities
We will undertake a project to address community needs, economic challenges, and demands of our people, such as health, education, Agriculture, and advocacy
across Liberia.

Skills building:
Under this initiative, we will work with a special focus on women, young girls, youth, and students.

Essential Aid: We will provide financial aid schemes for students and facilitate sustainable developments in Grand Geded County and Liberia at Large.

Sustainable livelihood: We will mainly focus on social and environmentally sustainable projects empowering the communities that we serve.
COLLABORATION:
Who Do We Collaborate With?
We are always open to work in collaboration with individuals, corporations, governments, and NGOs. We see this to be important as no one party can do everything by themselves. The best way to do projects is to work together with light-minded and genuine parties to see how to create more fun initiatives, more dynamic initiatives as well as more sustainable initiatives.

We are ever ready to do this with partners and collaborators for the causes that can help bridge gaps between people and organizations. Investing in people and volunteerism is an important component of our belief that we can see will bring people together better and faster. If more people are willing to give, more people will receive. While doing work that can be fun, it is also important that we are professional, responsible, and caring in the works.
The best way to start is to start with project collaborations!
